How We Work

Riverbank is able to offer a range of services to suit your requirements. After receiving our information pack, which will contain a Riverbank Client Site Survey Sheet, we will invite you to complete the forms supplied and request photographs of the site. On receipt of this information we will assess whether civil or specialist engineering works will be necessary and make arrangements for relevant, qualified personnel to attend a site meeting from which a formal survey and report will be prepared. We will then discuss the possible solutions with you and, once a preferred solution has been agreed, a formal design and build scheme will be submitted to the Environment Agency and other relevant bodies for approval. A formal quotation for the works would be available at this stage.

In certain circumstances it is not necessary to gain Environment Agency approval but you should never assume this and we will be able to advise you in detail of your legal obligations once we have received your Riverbank Client Site Survey sheet and this has been assessed. Similarly, certain works will not require the involvement of professional engineering services and this will help to reduce the cost of the contract.

Athough Riverbank prefers to use willow, we are also happy to work with a combination of other materials and techniques to ensure the final solution meets your needs. Our reputation for delivering a comprehensive service is extremely important to us.

Our experienced team have been working in the West Country for many years, involved with many aspects of the farming community, the countryside and environmental works and during the last two decade have focused upon green engineering using traditional techniques.
